1、 Use a flashlight or mobile phone to search for the camera
Firstly, turn off the lights in the room, close the curtains, and then use a flashlight to shine around. As the glass on the camera lens reflects light, we can discover the hidden camera.
If we don't have a flashlight, we can still turn on our phone to take photos. Don't turn on the flash, use your phone to circle around the room, and if you see a bright spot on your phone, it means there is a camera. This trick is useful for infrared cameras with active light sources, as pinhole cameras mainly rely on infrared to capture images at night, while mobile phone cameras can to some extent see infrared that cannot be seen by the naked eye.

Press the mirror in the room with your finger. If there is no distance between the image and your finger, it means that this is a specially made mirror. It cannot be ruled out that there is a camera behind the mirror; There may be cameras hidden in the gaps between the TV and air conditioner in the room; Smoke alarms on the ceiling, clothes hooks in the bathroom, porous sockets, and so on are also possible. Pay close attention to the items in the room, such as an inconspicuous small hole or a thin wire exposed somewhere, and take them seriously!
4、 Check the network
Stealing devices may send videos directly through WiFi networks. Check the network situation in your room. If the hotel does not provide wireless network, but your room has it (which may be hidden), then be careful! Nowadays, some software can search for hidden networks, such as wireless mon, ewsa, etc.
